BMZ Link

BMZ Link is a next-generation IoT-based fire safety management platform for real-time monitoring, smart alerting, and centralized management of fire detection systems. It integrates ESP32-powered devices with Flutter mobile apps and Firebase cloud infrastructure. Deployments such as Salzach Sonne support both enterprise and smaller facility use cases.

Fire detection systems need live monitoring, clear alarm history, and device management on mobile — with critical alerts that must reach operators quickly, not only through a desktop or panel UI.

Delivered a Flutter app with Riverpod and Material Design 3, backed by Firebase (auth, data, storage, FCM) and ESP32 firmware for sensing and connectivity, so facilities can watch current alarms, history, and device configuration from the phone.

ESP32 nodes with flame/gas/smoke sensing talk to the cloud over HTTPS with OTA support. Firebase handles identity, realtime data, and push. The Flutter client (Riverpod) renders site status, Aktuelle Meldungen-style alerts, history, and device settings for deployments including Salzach Sonne.

Contributed to the Flutter fire-safety client and IoT stack — Riverpod state, Firebase/FCM integration, alert and history UX, and ESP32-related device flows used in production deployments.
